Javier González Burgos nació en la ciudad de Rosario, Santa Fe, en 1974, y creció
En Buenos Aires, donde actualmente reside en Capital Federal.
Además de ser ilustrador, es Diseñador Gráfico y Realizador Audiovisual,
graduado en la Escuela de Diseño Gráfico de Rosario.
Internacionalmente sus trabajos fueron editados en Colombia, Chile , Estados Unidos, España, México, Puerto Rico y expuestos internacionalmente en Suecia, España , Japón e Italia.
Es actual miembro del Foro de Ilustradores, A.D.A y del Design Meeting Point.
En lo referente a la Ilustración Infantil, trabaja en digital, utilizando el ordenador como único medio para la realización, sin bocetos previos, ni rafeados o escaneados. Esto le permite lograr absorber la impronta del momento, lo cual está íntimamente ligado al azar, pero sostenido por un saber predeterminado, que es el que mediará para llegar al resultado final. Esta metodología de trabajo no es gratuita. Está relacionada con su modo de ver la infancia, con el hecho primitivo, la primera instancia y lo natural, despojado de elementos o agentes externos que modifiquen su consistencia original, Javier no creo que haya que pensar como un niño para hacer ilustración infantil. Para ello hay que ser directamente un niño, sin tapujos, sentarse frente al monitor y derramar un postre Sandy de chocolate en el teclado. Además se pregunta: ¿Habrá dos chicos que piensen igual?

Born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1974, Javier González grew up in Buenos Aires. Inspired by children´s illustrators, he studied at
Graphic Design and Art College. As a freelance illustrator in Buenos Aires he shared studio with illustrator Constanza Basaluzzo, and designer Marina García Ritter.
Javier illustrated more than 40 books. His works were published in many countries such as Spain,Chile Mexico,Colombia,Puerto Rico, Unites States and exhibited on Sweden,Italy and Japan.
He also worked for many publishers from Argentina, his country
As regards illustration for children, all his designs are performed on a PC platform, with no preliminary sketches or scanning. In this way he can catch the very essence of the working as a facilitator to archieve the final result.
This work methodology has not been randomly selected. It´s
connected to his view of childhood as something primitive, the first and natural stage devoid of external elements or agents to modify its original consistency, as he consider you dónt have to think like a kid to work on illustration for children. You have to be a kid yourself and feel free to sit in front of your computer screen and spill your Sandy chocolate mousse on the keyboard.
Besides, he wonder: Are there any two kids who think alike?
