I was born in Buenos Aires and got a degree in engraving from the School of Fine Arts at the National University of La Plata in 1984. Since then I have been developing different kinds of activities relating to my educational background. Between 1983 and 1987, I published Latin American artists’ masterpieces while working at the Praxis Art Gallery engraving studio. Between 1987 y 1992, I helped set up several engraving and silkscreen studios in Ecuador, Costa Rica and Mexico.
Since 1992 I have been illustrating books for children and young people, both fiction and non-fiction ones, for several publishing houses in Argentina: Kapelusz, AZ, Santillana, Aique, Estrada, El Ateneo, Edicial, Oxford University Press, Ministerio de Cultura y Educación de la Nación, Municipalidad de la Costa, Corregidor, Longseller, Atlantida, Puerto de Palos, Santillana and Alfaguara from Puerto Rico and Edebé from Spain.
